Lugo is a city in northwestern Spain, in Galicia.

It was founded in 25 BC by Paulo Fabio Máximo and is the oldest city in Galicia, which was called Lucus Augusti. In the city there are numerous Roman remains, many of which are preserved in the Provincial Museum, as well as the Roman wall, unique in the world, which is preserved in its entirety and was declared a World Heritage Site in 2000. It is 85 km from the coast, although the province has a sea. It is called La Muy Noble y Leal Ciudad de Lugo (The Very Noble and Loyal City of Lugo).

Today, Lugo is a commercial and service city, with a university campus specialising in agricultural sciences (e.g. agronomy and veterinary science). There are also several popular festivals, such as the Arde Lucus, which commemorates the city's Roman past (June), and San Froilán, which is celebrated between 4 and 12 October.

The Mayoress of the city, Ms. Lara Méndez-López, will receive the participants in the Town Hall,  a baroque building unique in Spain. Depending on the number of participants, the reception could be in the MIHL Museum.
We will visit the Roman wall and the Roman house called "Mitreo", the ancient hierarchy of Lugo in Roman times.

Wandercoaching a Santiago

08:30 - 09:15 h
Departure by bus from the hotels to the Wandercoaching starting point in Palas de Rey:

09:15 -11:45 h.
Wandercoaching along a stretch of about 8 km in the "Camino Francés" to Santiago de Compostela

This will be the first time that this form of coaching is practised in Spain.
In Wandercoaching, each participant coaches a colleague for 1 hour and is then coached by his or her partner for the remaining hour until the end of the stage.

Coaching on the move combines professional coaching with a walk in nature. Walking sets the thoughts in motion. Changing perspectives give impetus and stimulate new approaches to solutions. Problems and challenges can be sorted out more freely and can be seen in a new light. This helps to let go and creates space for something new.

11:45 - 12:45 h. Debriefing on the development of Wandercoaching.
Feedback and reflection on the development, results and conclusions of the Wandercoaching exercise throughout the stage.
